Supported Employment

There are two Supported Employment programs:

Supported Employment Group - "Work Team":

As part of a "work team," you:

• Are part of an organized group, working together with others to get a job done
• Receive on-site job training and support at all times
• Are paid minimum wage or above

In this program, Opportunity Services provides the following:

• Locating a job you would like to do
• Training with a job coach who will teach you how to do the job
• Continued support from the job coach to help you be successful
  

Individual Model - "A Job of Your Own":

If you want to work independently and have a job of your own, this is the right service for you.

Opportunity Services will help you:

• Find the job of your choice
• Help you through the application and interview process
• Train with a job coach once a business hires you
• Provide on-going and follow-along support when you need it
